You can use Baby Carrier Mini for your newborn, and no extra infant insert is necessary. You can also use Baby Carrier Mini for both the facing-in position and the facing-out position. You can carry in the facing-out position from around the age of five months, once your baby is strong enough to hold their head up unaided.
